With a noteworthy history, NBMBAA is a leading organization that presents a lifetime opportunity for all the Blacks in the world to fulfill their dream to acquire an MBA degree. In order to increase the number of successful Blacks in the business community, NBMBAA presents scholarships for Black graduates with MBAs, advanced degrees and entrepreneurs. The goal of the organization is to develop programs to assist members, companies and business schools in achieving their destination. As a result every year NBMBAA gives away more than half million dollars in scholarships to undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students who desire to rock the business world.

NBMMA awards 25 scholarships every year. The eligibility conditions for the scholarship include enrollment in a graduate business program in a college or a university in the United States accredited by the AACSB, be available to travel to Atlanta, GA, agree to participate in limited public relations activities at the NBMBAA Annual Conference and Exposition, agree to become a member of the NBMBAA Scholarship Advisory Team and Scholarship Alumni Club, agree to volunteer during the NBMBAA Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA for minimum four hours and the student
